APERTURE

1.the pupil of our eye
2. smaller = darker, larger = brighter
3. large aperture means background blur, but with small aperture everything is clear no background blur.

the self portrait dose not have to have your face in it, put some props in it, take series of shots, and mess with the backgrounds abit. i like both of these because i like the light and refection on the one where he is in a restaurant and i like the way he looks.   the other one i play abit of gutair and he is alone and in a corner and the light is more on him and its dark around him
